Description

The research group Liquid Phase: Chemistry and Engineering of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Faculty of Science centers its academic research activities on material behaviour. Various lines of investigations cover a broad spectrum of compounds from light hydrocarbons to oils. The latter moved into focus for a project to identify a mixture, which generates a stable oil allowing for worldwide exportation. Further studies concentrate on the adaptation of industrial installations to comply with occupational risk prevention legislation in force.

Epoxidation of unsaturated organic compounds.
Oxidative rancidity of oils.
Rheological behaviour of foods.
Mixture of lime and cement fillers with a size of less than 60 ?m and asphalt mastics.
