The research group "Tourism and Territory" located in the Department of Geography, Faculty of Tourism. The activities and lines of work of the group are very varied. Among the various activities it is worth noting: a) The study of carrying capacity in tourist destinations, analyzing the consequences, both environmental and infrastructural. b) The attitudes of residents regarding the impacts of tourism, related to the socioeconomic development of tourist areas and the measurement of phobia tourism. c) These investigations have been combined with the evaluation of tourism policies. d) Works on target image. e) Analysis of rural tourism and sustainable tourism.
