EDITORIAL AND AUDIOVISUAL TRANSLATION (TREDITAV) HUM1107
Description
The research group TREDITAV (Editorial and Audiovisual Translation) was born from the common interest of its members in the study of editorial translation and audiovisual and accessible translation as cultural manifestations of societies in continuous evolution and in constant creative exchanges. Its researchers analyze theories, practices and processes with the main objective of contributing to the understanding of the multilingual and multicultural relations that these activities entail. Using new technologies, they carry out descriptive studies, reception studies and historical studies with texts in Spanish, English, French, German and Italian. They apply their results to innovation in translator’s training and link them to the professional world.
